Nominated for new director at Shots magazine 2013, my career began working in documentaries for the BBC before switching to films and commercials. I have worked for renowned filmmakers such as Terry Gilliam, Spike Rocky Morton and Matthijs van Heijningen at the same time I was mentored by Doctor Who / Marple writer Tom MacRae.

My first student short film was nominated for an RTS award, and my second film Child was shown ahead of Ben Wheatley’s Sightseers. My latest film Twelve stars BAFTA award winning Monica Dolan (Alan Partridge Alpha Papa, Kick ASS 2) and BAFTA nominee Joseph Mawle (Heart of the Sea, Birdsong).

Aside from fictional films I have also directed several documentaries, including ‘Souls of Srinagar’, a film that looks at the lives of people who live in the Kashmiri capital. As well as another documentary focusing on the islands of The Maldives, in association with a French production company due to be broadcast on PBS in 2014.

I currently have two projects in production; a film written by BAFTA nominee, Doctor Who and Lewis writer Tom MacRae titled Time Tramp about two children living in the wastelands around Canary Wharf set in contemporary London. And two documentaries; ‘Ink’ focusing on people and their relationships with their tattoos and ‘Art’, about three different tree based artists.

My photography has also been published and exhibited.
